Dr Ruslan Galimov
Nearly 20 years at the point where energy engineering meets investment: pricing, strategy and financing wind and energy projects for GE, Principle Power and RWE.
Biography
Ruslan has spent his career where engineering decisions turn into investment decisions. He has priced, negotiated and financed energy projects, and helped decide which ones get built.
At RWE he works on the levelised cost of energy for offshore wind. Before that he was Head of Strategy at Principle Power, the floating offshore wind pioneer, and worked at GE on global strategy, pricing and commercial negotiations.
He designs and leads the Energy Investment Simulation, and lectures on energy economics and business planning at INSEAD, Imperial College London, GE and RWE.
